Itinerary:

The tour begins at the Equestrian Statue of Louis XIV in front of the Louvre Pyramid, before entering the museum to explore its historic foundations in the Sully Wing, where the origins of the royal palace are revealed. We then move into the Antiquities Department to view masterpieces of Greek, Etruscan, and Roman sculpture, including the Venus of Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. From there, we continue to the Apollo Gallery, home to the dazzling French crown jewels. The journey proceeds through the Grande Galerie and adjoining rooms, where iconic Italian Renaissance works are displayed, including pieces by Giotto, Raphael, Caravaggio, Veronese, Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Fra Angelico, Mantegna, and Titian. Finally, we explore the French Neoclassical and Romantic collections, featuring powerful works such as David’s Coronation of Napoleon, Géricault’s Raft of the Medusa, and Delacroix’s Liberty Guiding the People.
