Beginning and ending in Nairobi, this tour will take you on a safari through two national game parks where you can attempt to spot the big five—lions, rhinos, leopards, elephants, and buffalo. Camp under the stars and take in all the rugged beauty Kenya has to offer. Spend a day exploring a local village and learn about the Maasai tribe’s unique way of life before returning to metropolitan Nairobi and onward to your home country.
DAY 1 - OVERNIGHT FLIGHT
Overnight flight to Nairobi.
DAY 2 - Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi and check in to the hotel for a relaxing evening exploring Nairobi.
DAY 3 - Nairobi
Enjoy an exciting day exploring some of Nairobi’s most intriguing highlights where you will have the option to visit the Giraffe Center, the elephant orphanage, or a female-forward African bead factory. Overnight in Nairobi.
DAY 4 - Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
Morning pickup for a transfer to Lake Naivasha where you will enjoy a boat safari and walking tour of Crescent Island. Spend the afternoon in full safari mode with a game drive of Nakuru National Park where you can try your hand at spotting the big five. Overnight in Nakuru.
DAY 5 - Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
Transfer to Masai Mara where you will enjoy lunch and a free afternoon or an optional horseback ride through the conservancy, followed by a champagne sunset viewing and night game drive. Overnight in Mara.
DAY 6 - Masai Mara
Picnic breakfast and early morning game drive in Masai Mara where you’ll see a spectacular sunrise and fields of wild game roaming the savannah. This will also be your best chance to see big cats and elephants. Option to visit the park via hot air balloon ride followed by a champagne breakfast. Overnight in Mara.
DAY 7 - Masai Mara + Maasai Village
Spend the morning in a local village where you will have the opportunity to live a day in the life of a Maasai villager. Give back to the local community by donating supplies and spending quality time visiting a school, playing with the children, visiting a local family in their home (dung hut), and going on a tour of the village learning about the unique Maasai way of life. Overnight in Mara.
DAY 8 - MAsai Mara to Nairobi
Depart on your journey back to Nairobi. After an exciting adventure in the wilderness, enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the pool or the spa before enjoying a farewell dinner. Overnight in Nairobi.
DAY 9 - Fly home
Transfer to the airport to board your flight home and bid a fond farewell to Kenya.
